    Internet Marketing

Hey! I just need some insights on how to boost a website's page rank. We are launching our new shop and might go international as well. Our website is almost done...we're just finalizing our paypal account then we're ready! So we need some help on internet marketing and currently, we are promoting thru our facebook and instagram account. However, when I was doing a research, I read from wikihow some ways to improve your page rank and I find it quite technical. Sorry, I'm a bit slow with technical stuff, lol. If you have time to read the recommendations from wikihow, do you think I must follow them all? It looks like I need to hire a professional to help us with all those stuff. Suggestions, please. TIA.

Hiring a company is recommended, and you should consider both advertising and SEO. In the beginning you will want 10% SEO, 90% advertising. Eventually the goal is 90% SEO, 10% Advertising. The problem with finding a good company to do SEO, is that there are a lot of shady SEO companies. If they Spam, or guarantee success, likely it's a scam of sorts. Your page rank may go up, bounce around a bit, but eventually your page rank will be damaged severely to the point where you wont even be listed in Google's first 100 pages.

Since I don't know the type of company you plan to do, I can't help you with suggestions, but I can tell you that you will need to pay for legit backlinks, which is to say sites with a high page rank, to link to you with follow links. The higher the PR they have, the better, but you should expect to do on search engines. You should also consider choosing where you want to advertise, meaning various websites. Sometimes they will have adblocks you can purchase, other times, you will need to contact them for a price. If at all possible, you should contact sites which will help you get more customers but offer an affiliate type link - with a special rate, just for them. Expect to need to pay out 10% for most customers, but upto 25% or better websites with more traffic.

If you do get in contact with a website owner directly, it's a good idea to ask them to host your banner on their site, and to even mask it. This will prevent adblockers from automatically blocking your content.

Website owners will have their own costs. If they don't plan to signup for your affiliate program, expect to pay anywhere from $25-$250 for a single blog post with follow links, and anywhere from $15 a month to several hundred for image ads in static locations.

SEO is about getting companies with interests close to your company's to link to you, getting up on social media, and also internal SEO, which can entail blogs, guides, and url rewriting.

Hope it helps. +Rep if it did.

Oh one more thing, when choosing an SEO company, make sure that if they claim they can get you to the first page of google, that you get to choose the keywords. Otherwise you might find that if someone searches for "yoursite", that "yoursite" is the number 1 or 2 listing. Whereas searching for "keyword2" might leave you back on page 15. Hope that made sense.
