[Question] Shops and should I start one?

Hiya! Zakattak here. I just wanted to know with people who have shops are people *grateful* for the product you provide and should I start one myself. Here is a link to me deviantART

Yeah - the only thing that has stopped me from running a shop is lack of wanting to donate to 'charity' as it were. That, and I'd have to actually make a fancy sig and avatar for myself, which I'd rather not do when I could make somebody else stuff for a small amount of compensation.

Though people may not be grateful for you work, others will note you contributions to the community, and eventually, you will be recognized for it, I'm sure.

Which is the opposite of me, because I really don't contribute.

So they are grateful but not as much as you think they may be? Also neither of you told me if I should start one. I might make one later because of the flood of shops recently.
