    Nice bot! How does one make a bot for wildstar? I have basic java knowledge but have no idea whatsoever how to interact with a game.. Would you like to give some tips on where to start ?

    Reading and writing of memory to find out what keys to send and when.

    Also, good old waypoint bots. Boy does this bring back memories =P

    EDIT: If you havn't already, I would look into making this use mesh waypoints, similar to how OpenBot (I think was the name) used to work for WoW. I don't believe it is that complicated to implement.

    Wait what, does that mean they have?

    I think thats what you're saying ;o

    It seems kind of odd that they've already implemented an anti bot when there is cheat programs out there already with flying/speedhacking etc. Seems like they got other things to worry about

    bot isnt targetting any mobs to attack.... any idea why? it runs through the spots but doesnt target/attack anything

    @Sychotix: Haha, I know what you mean "old memories". Maybe I will add somedays an mesh system but at the moment the normal waypoint system is more than enough. Also I think that a mesh system is sometimes worse than a normal waypoint system. But this is just my opinion .

    @3min3m87: Yes, you can use it with dx9 and dx11.
    Mesh systems allow for easier anti-stuck and dynamic pathing through an area. Instead of walking around in a circle, you can just path directly to enemies in the object manager, without having to worry about running into objects. Also if you happen to get stuck running to or pathing back from killing an enemy, you can always attempt to get to the closest node, which may be (more) clear of obstacles.

    @Simber, I just meant that there may be some people that have looked into the code enough to determine that there is no (client-sided) detection, but it is too early to determine if there is any server-sided detection. There definitely was talk of having an anti-hack though.

    Well of course you are right but I don't agree with " Instead of walking around in a circle". Look at Honorbuddy and tell me that again . Honorbuddy has a mesh system and it runs mostly the same ways again and again because of their "bad" algorithm. You can add random stuff to a normal waypoints system too.
