nice prog ! thanks
Sounds like a problem with your OS if you have installed the redist package and even tried putting the dll in manually... I have written one that does this using .net framework, its on this forum if you can't get this one to work maybe mine will work for you, if you have the .net framework installed. I really can't see any reason after you installed the redist for it to not work.
If i type in "regsvr32 msvcp120.dll" into cmd and it says the module was loaded but entry-point Dllregisterserver was not found, does that mean anything?
Edit: I manually moved the msvcp120.dll into the SysWOW64 folder, and i now get a different error: "the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)"

Yeah, that means the export DLLregisterserver doesn't exist in the dll.
If you are on a 64bit os you could try manually placing the dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
Or put it in the same folder as his app (I believe it will load it from there)
Try installing the redist package again

For both of those i get: "A newer version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable has been detected on the machine." I also put the msvcp.dll file in the same folder as i had the wildstar platform selector, nothing changed.
thank you man, good for bot
