update from me, hit 50 did some more killing. greens - 4 blues - 4 (modx1) oranges - 2 (blasterx2) purples - 1 (mission discovery) total - 10..........+rep op

Been farming this guy for a week or so now. Had a varying mix of greens, blues/orange and 1 purple.

Logged in today after the patch, and he isnt spawning any more. Same on other servers?

fixed: his respawn is way higher now. still has his loot table though.

Feb 23: I killed Greymane 4x this evening with my L50 sentinel toon. I got a L50 blue earpiece, a blue pair of gloves, and two consecutive sets of green armor. Each kill was also accompanied by ~3000 credits.

His respawn timer is now 30 mins from the time you kill him until the time he reappears, which was really frustrating. The whole endeavor took me just over 2 hours. Looks like BioWare nerfed this outdoor boss loot by lengthening the wait, but keeping the blue-level drops.

p.s. I did log out after every kill to try to stop diminishing returns. I'm unsure if that made a difference, but with a 30-min respawn timer, it didn't cost me anything to relog.

Killed him once, he dropped blue 400 Armormech schematic. Respawn timer is definitely longer than 10 minutes, I didn't bother waiting longer than that. Guess his respawn got nerfed badly.

Nope, not nerfed. Just a spot that is not good.

I used this trick since the release of this post, so right after it. I never got something worth more than 30K always greenies and some blue, this is about 120K / hour spot.

I have been told, they have nerfed this, so, by the sounds of it, only green drops now :-(

Thanks for sharing! Although it is Nerfed to 30minunte re spawn unfortunately. although nonetheless still drops oranges.
To those still doing this: try speedhack if its a struggle; works great.
