Arcanist Box Farming using PoEHUD and AutoIT

Here's a good way to make currency while you're distracted, such as doing homework, watching TV, or AFK.

What happens is you run a script, it will keep creating new Docks instances over and over, and when it detects an Arcanist Box, it will ring a sound and stop the script.

Here's what you'll need

• AutoIT
  
• An edited version of PoEHUD that I compiled here
  If you don't trust my compiled exe, you can compile it yourself, I've only made changes to one file here. You will need to import AutoItX3.dll into your references in order to compile it successfully. You can find that inside your C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\AutoItX directory.
  
• The AutoItX3.dll file from C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\AutoItX as mentioned above.
• And an AutoIt script I wrote.
  

You will need to run this game in windowed fullscreen 1920x1080 for it to work. If you want to run it in windowed, or in a different resolution, you will have to go into the script and edit the coordinates for each mouse click. Sorry, I couldn't be bothered to integrate pixel recognition.

Here are the instructions to get you started.

1. Replace the old PoEHUD.exe with the new one.
2. Place the AutoItX3.dll into the same folder as PoeHUD.exe
3. Go into Docks, and make 6 or so instances. (Until you see the scroll bar on the right side appear)
4. Don't move your character
5. Run my AutoIt script (in admin mode if necessary)
6. Run PoeHUD.exe
7. Go back to the game, make sure your character is still standing right below the waypoint
8. Hit F3
9. Profit
   

Essentially what is going on is, the AutoIT script is running simple clicks and key presses to automate making instances. I made a hotkey F4 to halt that function in the script. When POEHud detects Arcanist Box on the map, it will trigger a system sound and it will input F4 which will trigger the script to halt. Which will then allow you to go find your box and profit!

I usually stop rolling at around +4 or +5 additional items in order to maximize profit. This is a good way to make easy income during early times in a league or at any time if you're a lazy f*k like me. It also allows me to kick back and watch YouTube while the script runs, because I have two monitors. For those of you with only 1 monitor, you better go grab your laptop, or hopefully you have a TV in your room.

You will get banned for spamming instances.

But in docks u can farm corrupt zones, using frame timing, without hacks; so if u will spam docks and run them only with corrupted zones, u won't banned, because all ppl doing it. But about arcanist boxes im not sure, i think its unsafe.

there were cases of people being blocked/banned for it. for few months now they consider frame timing as abusing game mechanics. nothing wrong with 10 instances but it wil lget dirty with 30+

Are you putting the AutoItX3.dll in the same folder?

And as for getting banned, you can always run it on a smurf account and transfer the currency if you want.

I've been currency banned before for spamming too many instances, seems like you could add pausing or timed breaks to remedy that? Cool idea btw.

Not from your script, about a year ago I guess, right when ambush came out. I was farming Sarn and Docks for boxes on my main and got temporarily currency banned. I was spawning instances like crazy though for hours on end. I told them I was a supporter and got it lifted. I think Jaerin had even mentioned one of his alt accounts being banned for "spamming" instances at one point, something that Chris Wilson denies they do. Sure....

Thank you for you contributions, but just a PSA. This is a sure way to get banned. The repetitive creation of instances is a huge red flag. Once they investigate logs to your activity and "why" you ran a particular instance (and then there's a pattern), you will get banned. I'm only sharing this with you because I did this on an alt account for a couple days, and got banned. They didn't tell me why I was banned, but this instance spam is the only thing I did on the account, no bots or anything. Didn't even use pot script.
