OK. I switched back to manual AreaChangeCount offsets. I haven't had any luck trying to get a search pattern.

I added a Steam AreaChangeCount offset. Steam seems to be working well now (well, as well as it runs on vanilla, which is still quite laggy).

There are two file lists in FileRoot. I switched the PreloadAlertPlugin to use the other one. It seems to be working now.

I added a timer at the render call loop to see which render calls were slowing it down. XPrate throws once when HUD first starts up, not sure why that is... PreloadAlertPlugin does as well, no surprise since it's iterating through 15k-30k+ files. Those were the only calls that took more than 100ms during my testing.

So armed with that knowledge, I changed PreloadAlerts.

The way it used to run was checking the file count, iterating through those files, checking the count each loop and if it increases, it iterates through the new files, if it decreases, it starts over. That way worked well when files were added, but when they started the dynamic loading and unloading of files, you end up constantly iterating through the entire file list. Which means constant stuttering.

So I've changed it. Now it only iterates through the file list when it changes areas. If you want it to refresh, you can hit F5. I may add a timer if alerts are missing and the timer would help with it (I'm pretty sure this will be the case, but for now I'm not doing so).

So try it out and let me know what you guys think.


Side note: Chests still don't show up for me on the minimap (strongboxes, etc., as well). Is anyone else having this problem or am I a special snowflake?

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try and get an area change count for Garena figured out. I'll probably need to download the updates, so it'll probably be tomorrow at some point.

Figured out my problem with chests. Somehow my settings file had poi tracker enable set to false. I'm not even sure how you turn it off. Oh well, I can see chests again.

I got my sleep, I can work on this today. Just updated GarenaSEA, I'll get the GarenaTW next.

I have this also. I didnt get it until i got the prophecy that requires you to kill a queen or king "A Royal Death". I just ignore it.

Yeah thats right i finished it and its gone but now i got "The scout" and thats the one summoning warbands so the preload is full of warbands now like 10 of them

It's probably an issue he will fix sooner or later. Just bind the prophecies or do them and get rid of them. This league sucks so I just collect the damn coins and sell em.
