AoC is a great game with a lot of potential. Sadly, their devs and publishers are idiots. All the potential (and there is a HELLA lot of it) isn't used at all. I stopped playing for that reason. I don't want a game with potential, I want a game that uses its potential.

join Tyranny-pvp. if you dont see someone every 5 minutes, then either turn your graphics settings up, or get a new pc lol. this server is VERY alive and well.

True! I played in the beta and a few months after release. The devs and mods where clueless. Talking about missing the point. I was actually pinpointing the problem with AoC before the release, but got ignored. Well, see what happen..

It was pretty awesome imo. The success is lying infront of FCs eyes. ... They really gotta make an MMO soon that has some real brutal gore, like AoC!

The Secret World is an insane MMO, stuff is done so correctly, but it doesn't fly off the bat correctly, so to speak when it fires up. Also, both AoC when released had real machine hog specs, but it was awesome back then. The Secret World is.. offwww.. you need a high end computer to play that, with the visuals that are "supposed to be used" (they are amazing!) if you got that, get lost in The Secret World! The TXAA antialiasing is really great in that game, even heavy advanced SSAO and so on.. (nVidia featured propped game).

Wonder how long the WoW engine will keep up, since it feels to me, even how much content they add, it will still be the same engine. Too bad the SSAO they added in Mists is only shown a few zones.
