Tested on EU release , no US , but i think it's same .

Start Warhammer , log on your char , lauch the soft , and press F2 for activate Ghost Mod ( example ) .
if a msgbox say you "Incompatibility !" , just click on "Ok"

Tested on US server Gorfang, version 1.2, and the game seems to autoclose when Casper in enabled. This could be Mythic's first attempt at detecting hacks like this, or it may just be my computer. Never the less, be wary - this could be detectable very soon.

Or simply that the hack caused the shut-down of the process?

Mythic has 0 anti-cheat features as of right now.

I'm only skeptical because I ran it fine yesterday no problems. Today - that's a different story. The new program could be conflicting with some of the graphical changes they've done in 1.2, or something of that nature. Like I said, it may or may not be Mythic starting detection software. The bottom line is that this program seems to not work on patch 1.2. If anyone has reason to state otherwise, it wouldn't be a bad idea to clear it up.
