Considering Starting to play Eve Online anyone have tips?

I have been told about this game and I would like to try it, I would like to know some tips for a noob when playing this game. Like , What skills are best for making money , what should I aim for first to better my performance. Anything I need to know that you found out along the way that you wish you knew at the start? All little things like this would count as tips and anything I don't know about could be here also. I want to do some good research before I start to play.

Scratch that , I tried the free trial , it was awful for me I didn't like it personally, thought it was really limited. Don't like not being able to fly your own ship lol that sucks!

after some h testing?, playing it myself since 2 weeks and without anybody to ask its a pain, but so much to do. if you dont like the control wait 4 Star Citizen

They key to eve online is finding a corp ot niche you really like. For example if you find AFK'ing for short periods of time and passivly gaining money, mining is pretty cool. If you enjoy lots of PvP then try joining communities like spectre fleet and train some the ships in their doctrine,

Wrong, the key to EVE is having fun playing/botting/afking or whatever in it. Been around in New Eden since 2008 (although started various times in 2007 until I finnaly got used to it) and was NEVER EVER in player corp...except my own "private" corp for some time.

The key to Eve is to close your account down and play a more interesting game that actually gives you control over your character
