Make ISK Fast

Ok so I just start playing Eve a week or two ago, and I am trying to farm ISK for Plex. I have mostly been mining, but I noticed that seems to be a slow way of gaining ISK. Missions give me quite a bit, but I haven't gotten that far. Is their a better way to gain ISK fast?

if you get some initial isk to start out with, trading can be good and using a trading bot can be even better
