Fishing in this game is a mini-game itself. When a fish bites you need to press space bar, then a little meter pops up that fills 3 times, you need to hit space again when the meter fills and is in the "good" area. If you manage to do that you then get a sequence of keys to enter (ex: AWSADW) it's always AWSD keys.

Lastly a fishing bot isn't needed for this game as BDO has no afk/kick timer and in-fact afk fishing is allowed. On the Korean version i would fish afk for 6+ hours while asleep. So making a bot for a function already existing in the game is pointless. The negative to afk fishing is that it takes the full 3 minutes to reel the fish in. Non-afk fishing is usually 1-3 minute.

Thanks for taking the effort to create a bot much appreciated!

If it turns out to be too extended of a project perhaps you could consider creating a client that just shows items on the ground, levels of other players, combo macros, and other cool things you can expand on. (i'd be willing to donate for this)

I know you are kidding around, and I am no expert, but if you google for "xigncode-stuffs" there is lots of discussion of the various techniques it uses, such as signature detection, in memory string detection (including author handles), ntfs usn journal scanning, and a heartbeat to remote hosts to insure it is actually running. It does not seem to flag everything that attaches to a game process but it seems to have a bevy of checks.

I know some commercial cheats that I have paid for now use a kernel patch and disable patchguard so that they run at kernel ring 0 level. Which I assume allows you to no longer play cat and mouse because you own the house. I suppose that requires an additional skill set to implement and an increased level of effort to maintain as each windows kernel update rolls out.
