Bypass the 10min lockout on server switching?

I simply want to find out how to bypass the lockout you get when you want to switch a server more then 1 time within 10minutes. I need to do it frequently and fast, without any restriction. I have tried such very easy programs like Ultrasurf, with which you can change your IP within a second, but that does not seem to affect BDO.

How do I do it?

If you mean the channel lock, you have to quit to the character select screen and choose a different character that way.

Also, since almost everything is client sided as far as timers go, ask Parog if the timers are client side, and maybe Pyx can get a hack to bypass it.

I want to farm specific mobs that have a greater respawn and need to switch channels, yes, not servers, channels, asap. Without the 10min lockout. Did I understand you correctly that this disappears when you change your character?

When I was outside of a safe-zone farming, you can't do 'character switches', but if you disconnect and relog you can (you don't have to restart the client). It'll just give you the server selection screen and go nuts, pick a different channel, and you're golden. That's how I used that method. I don't know how well it works for quickly switching channels, let us know how it works for ya

what do you mean with disconnecting and relog? A disconnect is my disctionay a leaving the game and said relog, to start the game again. that requires a "restart" of the client, since it is automatically getting shut down, when you close your game.

If you go to your menu and click Disconnect - Character Selection - Enter - Server Selection - Pick A Channel and log back in :P

I dont think there is a way to avoid the 10 min lockout. You can always get a 2nd account.

Sorry, that's all that I ever found. Now that you know cool downs are not server side, you could always just figure out where the memory is stored for checking the character switch timer, and code the bypass yourself
