Anyone knows a good Reverse Engineering Book or Tutorial

    as topic says

I am experienced C/C++ programmer, wrote a small bot for 1.12.1 wow who is able to target units, move through ctm, loot units, custom profiles, ...
But many offsets were taken from ownedcore, cause my knowledge of reversing is by far not as good as it should be.

Could anyone lead me in a good direction where to start with?

Should i start to learn x86 asm?

    Any help is much appreciated

Ah, good quest, which is the one i'm seeking to accomplish too.
I have about the same skills as you, and yes some asm is required, but there are a shitton of different tools to make it better.
I began reading "ida handbook" and a "pratical reverse engineering" (you can find it somewhere on OC iirc)
Then I followed ollydgb tutorials, and watched IDA videos on youtube. This week, I found another hacking forum, that gives detailed info on to understand all that.
Google is a very good friend, but the best first step is still to practice.
Ollydbg tutorials allowed me to remove the key check on a game I was testing But I still don't understand 99% of what RE is...
Have fun, it's a very worthy quest. You can PM me if needed.

Lena's Reverse Engineering tutorials are good start with Ollydbg, these tutorials are really old but gold.

There's actually an old thread about pretty much this thing, burried deep within the memory editing section...
    Bookthread

I can myself recommend the book "Reversing: The secrets of reverse engineering" and Lena's tutorials!
