Which graphics card to get

So I have like £100 to spend on it mabey £150 ish if its really good. I need a new one cos my current GT240 is crap and keeps freezing. I will probs be buying from ebuyer.com. And I need your help considering we have alot of awesome tech guys on this site

I got the SapphireHD 5850 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI Display Port.. | Ebuyer.com and it's working extremely well, no troubles yet (except for a faulty card I got first, free replacement and delivery though so no worries) and I max almost every game I've played. BFBC2 is at 50fps at max with Anti-aliasing dropped down a bit and shadows at medium. That is the only game I've had to lower anything.

If you're buying from that site it seems that the price is way too high, I got mine for about £140 a few months back. It's a bit large though so you will need quite some space for it to fit.

I like how my gtx 260 factory clocked perform the same as yours Reflection. But I would recommend a very similar card as Reflection's or a gtx 460/480.

I was looking at the GT450 or the ati 5770?

My ATI 5750 is pretty sweet, runs WoW at ultra with little FPS drop (around 30-40 or so.)

Also pretty easy to overclock especially with O.C. Genie or whatever it is that comes with my MSI mboard.

go with a 5 series from ati.. its the best bang for your buck for sure. i recently just built my new system a few weeks ago and i upgraded to a phenom II X5 4ghz and a XFX 5870. ati and amd are killing there competition right now with better performance for half the price of intel/nvidia. 5850 is cool, but go on ebay and patiently wait for that sweet deal and get a 5870. you wont have to upgrade for a couple years with this thing. but make sure you have a quad core cpu otherwise its useless. best of luck
