Im running the beta 4.5 - running the exe in xp sp3 compatibility mode fixed the problem.

im using windows 7 and i right-click run as admin and it works just fine...

This might sound like a silly question, but what's the ban risk of these kinds of hacks on blizzard games? ( This is my first blizz game ). As in, how often do people ACTUALLY get banned?

With real money getting involved soon, i'm sure blizzard will roll a aggressive stance against cheating.
And their first strike, just like starcraft will be to set an example, so they will most likely gather as many cheaters and strike them all at once.

Not necessarily since they earn money for each auctions, botters will makes them earn a lot of money

Weell, yes and no, right? More bots=More dupes of same item=more dupes=less item value=less item value=less money for blizzard
so it's really here or there I guess.

I laughed at this, it says you have been here since 2010; you act as if you have been here a day. Please research before accusing someone of spreading a virus, vandra has released plenty of applications on this website before and they have always been clean.

Not sure but I think I recall someone mentioning a guy hacking accounts on this site. U can never be carefull enough.
