Seems to me after a few hours of testing that the level drops on rings in vota and desolate sands are a little too high and that your more likely to get a manald heal.

Sewers of caldeum, ruined cistern dalghur oasis all seem to be around the right level, problem with the 1st two is that there is such a lack of champ packs. I haven't managed to get a ring to drop yet in the forgotten ruins to check level.

I'm sure it is possible to get one in vota, but it doesn't seem like the most effective way to go about it.

I'm going to try for a few hours on getting 5 stacks then running Adria quest in sewers and clearing up to the desolate sands.

I'm running 375% mf after nv.

won't that cause you to pick up random checkpoints and have to search for VotA again?

It doesn't, at least for me.

Your checkpoint will not change from vota unless you enter cave of the betrayer or ZK's archives. It will always use the furthest progressed checkpoint for any given quest that you are advancing on.

Just did the 5 stacks vota thing, and got a level 5 legendary belt from a goblin in there.

I got lots of rings but all lvl 13.

One wonders if this isn't one of the exception's where an item named specifically after an area in the game would have some sway.
Seems to me Leoric's manor has a decent amount of rares sometimes in the courtyard and steps. Seems like a logical place to put it.

Did some VoA runs. 375% cap is to low..it just feels not enough. As also, once you reach that 375%MF "cap" and try to add more MF, the over cap MF numbers seem to apply strangely.. Instead of adding fair 20%MF which come with my regular MF bracers, it adds only 6% to MF. Diminishing returns? So my MF cap reached 393% with 5NV.. however should have reached atleast 407%MF.

I am doing runs with my wizard using teleport skill with wormwhole rune and storm armor with scramble rune. Plus boots, hammer jammers pants and slave bonds give in totall 25% move bonus.

3 hours spent result:

the crudest boots + rabid strike.

Just want to share with you my strategy:

1. quick 5 stacks in VoTA
2. Sewers of Caldeum
3. Then - Oasis half of it (basically where more nagas)
