Still nothing, I don't get why no legens are found - how the **** the MF works...I got 320MF

If i'm not mistaken, MF doesn't effect the actual rarity of the item that drops, but just the stats when it does drop?
I mean, unless it turns blues that drop into yellows, you could literally run around with 0 MF and have the exact same chance of legendaries/rares dropping as anyone else?

MF affects the items in two ways. First, when item drops system makes a roll against your MF. First roll to check if it'll be a legendary. Next - rare with 6 properties, then 5 properties etc, ending in blue --> white --> gray item. The other thing is Blizz revealed some time ago that as of now MF also affects the quality of the stats rolled on your items. That means with MF 0% you have a chance to get the item with (let's say) a lot less Dex, than with MF 375%. But random chance is random, you can end up with exceptional item anyways with 0% MF, if you're lucky enough.

after 10 min of farming got first legend 1h for monk with 350 mf on 3NV

Anyone actually find this ring already in VotA? I farm for another 4hrs, no legendary....

What would be better, just getting the checkpoint in voa and running that non stop, or tp'ing out killing a few of the champs packs that are near wps like black canyon mines, road to alcarnus and then going back in. I'm running max mf, 100 more than i run in inferno and if im not at 5 stacks I dont seem to get many yellow drops, with just over 200 in inferno 90% of the packs when im without nv drop a yellow.

Normal drops seem horrible.

found this forum when searching for info on the ring so i figured i'd chime in. I did 10 runs of the vault and surrounding areas and got nothing to show for it. came back a few hours later got my first legend level 10 See No Evil which dropped from a regular skeleton in the Vault. Very next run I got a level 15 Scrimshaw from Cave of the Betrayer 2 that dropped from a yellow pack. Both finds were with 344MF with 5NV

I've just received a private message from a player who farmed with this guide - he got Leoric's Signet in Vault of the Assassin. So there is hope

Gotten 2 legendaries in about 13-15 runs with 300 MF pre NV(so max) .Boots n chest . wtb ring

It was in VotA. I have gotten the same ring twice now, and some other shitty legendarys

I farmed for a few hours now and found:

2x Aquila Cuirass
Sin Seekers
Rabid Strike
Boneshatter

But I doubt Leoric's Signet will drop there. While farming I noticed every ring that dropped had an ilvl of 16+. That's why I think there won't be any ilvl 14 legendary ring. Someone said he has found Manald Heal, and guess what: it's ilvl 17
