Well I wrote the guide when there were only 2 signets on EU AH

Besides, how many perfect 30% rings are there, mate? ;-)

I rolled a perfect 30% + 38 str ring the first time it dropped. Sold it while prices were high (250 euro minus Blizz taxes) but never managed to get a second one.

Sadly, the drop location was where that chinese voice dude hid in the barrel...

I did mention the Ancient Waterway in the earlier version of the guide, because the lvl of the items is about right. It dropped later from the guide because farming there isn't as efficient as Dalghur Oasis etc.

Anyways - thanks for your input, I'll update the first post with your drop location. (and gz on your sale! )

TBH can't tell you. It takes about 1-2 minutes to get 5 NV on normal with that monk setup.

my current run is VoA checkpoint start for the quick 5 stack of NV (max MF), then sewers----->ruined cistern----->dahlgur oasis

my question is should i include desolate sands at the end or are the item lvls too high there?

w00tness!!!! after about 5 days and 11 legendaries later i found THE RING (26%) !!!!!!

i was just doing the same thing i have been doing since i started this run for this cursed ring

VoA checkpoint for 5 stack of NV, then to the sewers, the cistern and then the oasis (this run i found the ring in the SEWERS on the 3rd blue mob i killed, but i killed a gobby with them so i dont know which dropped) my MAGIC FIND was 371% (like 18% with my templar and im paragon 8, so 24% with my paragon for a total of 371)

I hope this helps others find this ring, this guide has been most helpful thanks vv3 you pwn straight up O.o

I'm going to do the mad scientist thing and try to find me ANOTHER, yes another Leoric's Signet ring, so I will deffinately let you all know if I find another!!

Created an account just to say thanks to vv3.

Been farming this for 6 days now and finally got my ring yesterday. Found it in the Ancient Cave Level 1 in Dahlgur Oasis, dropped by an Elite mob in there!!

Ring had only 23% exp, but it was still worth it.

i'm a bit late on farming leorics.. didnt really want to do it ( farm for item- > farm xp faster )

Anyways I did a few runs last night and one today ( Vota +Waterways+Ancient Path+Road to Alcarnus+Black Canyon Mines+Dahlgur Oasis ) due to people reporting drops..

so my first run i was a lala-ing thru stuff and a wild orange ring appeared on the ground as my first legendary drop.

and it was .................................. A Manad Heal .. stuid troll game

did a few more runs with nothing so i went to bed.

Thx for the Guide but i have one Question


Is it possible to run it afk ?
I mean they are the Spider Spawners in Act 2 on Normal its no Big Deal to kill them with Thorns.. is a AFK-Method possible ?

If you're running with monk setup the way I described in the first post you don't need any thorns, everything dies on it's own. Question is if you've got a script to look for the drop, otherwise it'd be kinda pointless

would it be possible for this ring to drop on act 1 normal? or from act 1 goblins?
I found a way to afk farm act 1 goblins with the puzzle ring,

Is it worth my time or is it 100% that signet would not drop in from act 1 gobs?
