If your account was banned by Blizzard and unhappy about it...

If your account was banned by Blizzard unreasonably and Blizzard failed to resolve the issue with you, below are some additional resources to move the issue a bit further. Hopefully with enough complaints, officials launch a formal investigation...

    Better Business Bureau
    https://www.bbb.org/consumer-complai...nt/get-started

    Federal Trade Commission

    https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-6

    California Department of Justice

    Office of the Attorney General

Consumer Complaint Against A Business/Company | State of California - Department of Justice - Kamala D. Harris Attorney General

Following are additional resources recommended by the CA AG

“We also suggest you contact the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) which is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA). The FBI's IC3 Unit is organized to handle internet business fraud. You may contact them at http://www.ic3.gov.”

It states in the ToS that Blizzard owns your account and can ban it at any time they want to, even without a reason. Going to the BBB isn't going to change anything.

I work for a major game developer and I hate to say it but these threats don't mean jack. We get to your request as quick as possible and we deal with issues the same way no matter how much of a fuss you make. I doubt Blizz would change their tune based on a threat, that's not to say they don't have another policy in place though that would benefit you..

It’s funny how a user on this board posted most negative reply. Are you sure you’re not a Blizzard employee in disguise, lol?

You’d think Blizzard would just say they can ban any player anytime and be done with it when banning a player, right? After all, it’s the only clause they need as it’ll supersede any other clauses in their so called user agreement. They never did use that clause and keep coming up with pathetic response saying the ban was result of their own investigation when questioned by third parties. Why do you think they didn’t use the “they can ban them all if they feel like it” card?

How is their excuse is different than a criminal committing a crime and claiming his own investigation found he didn’t do it. Customers have expectation that they would be able to play game they have paid and they should complain when they were denied the service without a good reason. I’m providing alternate ways to complain about their unfair practice as their customer service is lacking and hoping to gain attention from authorities for those cases. As a multi-billion dollar company Blizzard should operate in a more transparent manner imho.
