How does the AFK timer work?

I was wondering how long is the timer for the AFK message to appear in a game?
Also the how long do I have until it disconnects me from the game?

How would I reset the timer from being AFK?

Does using a spell reset it? Or do I have to moving my character?

How it seems to work with me (this is MY experience and I can be wrong about it):

- If I only hold one button to autoattack, it goes AFK after a while;
- I have a low paragon level, so I earn levels very fast. If I don't move and get lots of levels (like 7 or and don't spend my paragon points, I'm disconnected.

What I'm doing to avoid being afk or disconnected right now:

- Using multiple spells, checking once in a while to upgrade my paragon points. I also tp to the city after 4 hours to repair my armor.
