Diablo 3 Easter Egg: Development Hell

It's a random spawn crypt during the quest "Shattered Crown" in Act 1. Im not sure if it spawns on Normal mode, but i have heard it only spawns randomly between Nightmare and Inferno. All the mobs inside it are named after the artists/designers/technicals.. basically all the developers of D3.

As you can see in the last photo, the boss of Development Hell is Lead Designer Jay Wilson.
After killing him, you receive an achievement called "Smash, Jay Smash!"

Hah ! thanks for sharing . I've run on normal many times that quest in my starter edition so I think you may be right on the higher difficulty only thing...

I went in one without knowing it, didn't realize it until I got to Jay Wilson and looked to see what modifiers he had and it said "Game Director" or something.

Worth noting, I cleared this crypt out not thinking much of it but laughing as I killed "Art Designer" and such. At the end, there is a purple-named mob, after the Director of the game, who yields a Feat of Strength when killed.

It spawns an Normal too, we got it 2 hours after release and got a hero achievement
