Sharpshooter small exploit

Since the latest patch pets now do your crit hit damage here is a little trick with sharpshooter - you can have 100% crit without any crit gear - focus on crit damage gear instead. - your pets do not reset your sharpshooter buff , this works with sentries and companions and is best used with the marauder set bonuses.

I believe that sharpshooter not resetting from pets is an oversight from blizzard ( because it was not powerful until now ) and it will probably be nerfed in the future. ( hence why I consider it a small exploit )

so this is basically .. dont dps at all and let the pets do it?
from how i see it this would be a MAJOR dps LOSS due to the fact that the pets wont be able to compete with the dps you do while attacking

Must agree, I am guessing that you can, at best, with Marauder setbonus, and 3 sentries, at best get maybe 500% weapon damage per second, or, we get about 1500% weapon damage each second with about 50% crit. Not to mention the companions will die at higher torments.

This could possibly be usable for a bot running at low difficulties tho. With emphasis on possibly.

Tho, I pray that Blizzard don't "fix" this, as it'd make Sharpshooter completely useless.

how about ring for only two pieces will provide full set bonus? and Cloak with 3 wolves

For me at least it seems like it is not worth it, if you do not have the set bonus for all pets together. If you have 3 pets and 3 ballists its super gg.

I have got like over 60% crit chance and single out gives an extra 25%, so as far as i am out of 20 yards, they usually crit with every attack.

Just a fyi; Single out is when the mobs are 20 yards apart. Not 20 yards from you

This has been like this since Diablo III first launched. It's not an exploit. It's a clever use of mechanics that in the end, results in a loss.
