Can anyone post the 7447 exe + battlenet.dll somewhere?

Windows 7
So... If you go to
C:\Users\Public\Games
and right click the "Diablo III Beta" folder and go to properties...
You can go to previous versions and open up one of the previous version's folder by double clicking from that list
Browse to Diablo III Beta\Data_D3\PC\MPQs\enUS
and check if 7447 is the latest patch that version has. If it is, restore it

I think this method might assume you didn't download the Diablo III Beta Client like real recently and rushed through all the patches to #5. Not sure how often windows 7 creates previous versions of a folder.

just replace d3 exe and battlenet.dll in diablo 3 client folder
you may have to delete the latest mpq 7728

Dont forget to Back up your D3 Client folder

Im getting a different error here, everything has been done properly as with other updates but for some reason this time im getting:

[Error] [MPQPatchChain]: Cannot find base MPQ file: CoreData.mpq.
[Fatal] [Program]: Cannot run servers as MPQStorage failed initialization.

i copied the files across, and also use the mooege.bat file which is what i've been previously using with all the other updates.
any fixes for this?

As has been mentioned a dozen of times, you are lacking the MPQ files in your Mooege file directory. They need to be moved over from the D3 Beta folder. If you copy the beta folder itself over containing the MPQs, keep in mind that the two folders are named differently (MPQ vs. MPQs), so change accordingly.

awesome, again thanks eluzai777, you just solved my problem. I had to do a lot of backups but that's not a problem, since I just discovered that the original d3 beta folder AND the mooege's mpq folder becomes unstable after a while playing, I don't know why this happens, but it just keeps changing some files inside both. So with my backups I can play with no worries

Noob question inc! The new patch have now come (patch 5).. Is there any way that I can download the diablo 3 client without updateing to patch 5? Or can I download the client and let it download the game and then run the patch 4? Happy for help! kkthxbye

From what i've already read - it's not available to work with patch 5 so far. i did see somewhere someone got it to work with patch 5 though.

labba, try updating the client all the way up to patch 5 and then follow the steps that eluzai listed above.

I just downloaded the client from blizzard and it has this mpq 7728

I have the 7447 version. Mooege.exe loads the MPQs correctly.

EDIT: Solved using MooExt.

I used this set of files to roll my diablo back to 7447

Don't forget to recopy your MPQ files after rolling it back. And I have had to roll it back a couple of times due to it starting the upgrading process when it errored and restarted.
