1Within 7 hours of sleeping, prices dropped from 8usd/million to barely 4 and are still falling far faster than before... when it gets down to the nitty gritty of only a measly couple bucks for this now. you have 2 options :>

1) sell it now, get what you can.

2) save it now, buy magic find gear for patch 1.0.3 inferno farming

3) hold onto it hoping prices will go up... and be disappointed

Yeah we knew it was coming... but ofc something like this is being made...

this next brings up the fact of .. STOP buying gold from no rep, new members here @ 12-14$/million, when privates sales are @9-10!!!! so many pm's and so many messages about how people are getting scammed left and right. Look around the forums a bit longer than 5 minutes and you will find threads reaching into the 12+ pages.. some even about to reach 40 pages of replies..

Trust the legit ones. Trust the Members offering the right price... not an over priced to-good-to be true price. Reputation is nice, but don't be fooled i'm saying screw the new people.. dont trust the new people wanting stupid prices for your gold.

-The price jump can be attributed to a few speculations: THEY ARE JUST THAT. but dont discount the price drop from a more stable low number to half of its price in such a short period. BIG difference from when they were high numbers.

1) instant checkpoint exploiting
2) duping en masse
3) well really that's it. nothing can explain the massive gold drop for a crash this fast.

but remus... 40$ to 20$ in 1 week!!! thats more than a few usd like now.

That's correct all they had to do was double their supply and cut the price in half (not true but use the idea) back then there was not as much gold in their coffers. This is to resellers; which could be greed... or as it has always been- indicators of the economy before they hit the buyers market
I'm going to use solid number like this:
10 Billion: 40 usd /m
20 Billion: 20 usd /m

Now imagine now after some time:

1 Trillion: 8 usd /m
10 Trillion: 4 usd /m

That is a LOT more gold, those numbers are to represent the increase rate just grew exponentially.

Don't choose option 3. Sell smart. To legit buyers.

4) If anything.. Don't accept anything less than 5-8$ /million. You can stand by your price and sell privately, ebay. on site here. where ever.
You earned that gold, but in the end. EVERYONE who goes down in price is actually contributing to screwing themselves over. Try to stop it and don't accept otherwise.
