EU Battle.net Authenticator for PC (free & easy)

With RMAH many ppl are looking for authenticators and as so I've decided to get a way of having an authenticator on my pc.

First Download Oracle VM VirtualBox which is used to create virtual machines:

(Windows) Link: http://download.virtualbox.org/virtu...-78361-Win.exe

After you’ve installed it, it should look something like this, but with an empty list:

Then download the following file:

Link: AndroidAuthenticator.ova

And import it afterwards:
import.jpg

After clicking on Ficheiro->Importar (or File->Import) just browse for the downloaded file and import it without changing anything.

After it’s imported, just double click it to launch the virtual machine running android.

Upon this screen just press enter and wait for it to finish the boot:

When it’s done it will look somehow like this:

Now this is IMPORTANT, you won’t see your mouse when you click on this window, for it to appear you must press right CTRL+i (This will lock your mouse inside the window and allow you to see it, to get it out just press the right Ctrl, or right CTRL+i again).

After seeing your mouse just unlock android and there you go, EU Battle.net authenticator right in front of you…

PS: When adding the mobile authenticator you must write "EU" before the 12 digits, like "EUxxxxxxxxxxxx".

Don't know, officially I don't believe so, only the physical one and the mobiles I believe. Might be wrong though.

yes there is, not made by blizz though but completly safe and very easy to use winauth - Battle.net / World of Warcraft / Diablo III Authenticator for Windows and Windows Mobile - Google Project Hosting

And prolly the OP didn't explain better, but i'm pretty sure he means this is a post about "cloning" your phone so you have the same auth on pc too, atleast that's what i deducted from the pictures

Well it can be used as both a clone and a new authenticator if you haven't got any. The apk installed on the android virtual machine is the one that can be downloaded from the android market.
Anyways, I did not know about that windows authenticator and it truelly looks awesome, thx alot for the info :P

WinAuth is easier ofc, though this was made Before I knew it existed so... xD

Actually your guide is the more secure approach. Winauth files can be stolen (uploaded by a trojan horse program) rather quickly, but uploading the whole VM is going to take some time and will slow your internet connection to a crawl, so you're bound to find out about something being wrong. On the other hand WinAuth can be encrypted. Then again, so can the VM.

There's one other weakness all authenticators have in common. A trojan horse program could intercept keys as you enter them.
