Actually I have just noticed that the game on the virtual machine has a strange behaviour. When I alt tab on windowed fullscreen mode, the vm lags like hell, like when the bot searches for images. If i put it on windowed mode, all is running fine except that the bot can't work on windowed mode. My setup is fine. I am using crossfire 2 5850 and an i7 processor so I believe the requirements are met. No matter what cores I give to the vm it still does the same thing.

Interesting, I tested your theory out and you're absolutely right. In windowed mode or fullscreen mode the game runs much better and playable. But when I switch to fullscreen windowed it lags a bunch. very strange

So basically you cannot run this without having an extra hardrive? Is it posisble to save the virtual computer on the main hardrive?

no. I have 2 just because. I didn't want to take up the space of having 4 installs on one drive. so I have my main & 1 bot on one, and 2 bots on the other.

Well I have this all set up now but I also get the lag right when looting like others have.

I have a 2500k @ 4.5 just like OP has and 8 gig of RAM. It runs flawlessly until he goes to loot.

EDIT: I can turn off gem looting and that allows me to loot all the magic drops. With gem looting on I miss some magic drops due to lag though.

try to put the vmware in high priority just a guess

Thing you can try .

allow it more processor .
Install windows 7 home 32 bit .(or not if you use 64 bit macro or bot)
give it at least 3 gig of memory to avoid lot of disk swapping .
Put the network on bridged not nat
reduce the resolution .

Or maybe i misunderstood ...and you just have to setup your option so the item name never dissapear ...

ive actually never had gem looting on because they are completely worthless, I suggest everyone turn this off if they are having performance issues, and don't want a stash full of useless shit

you should feel mildly bad for even repeating what you heard. a vmware is just an operating system install. Its literally just a computer.

in light of banwaves maybe i shouldn't have said this 3 weeks ago, but im still not banned running 3x vm's 24/7. perhaps running MANY in vmware increases, but not using Vmware changes in any way shape form

the q6600 was one of the first extremely consumer friendly overclock able chips, provided you have the right cooling. but given that you're still using it, its probably about 6 years old and I wouldn't recommend doing that.

wait until notares' new scaling thing comes out, and run it in 800x600 when available.

If virtual machine is not active, it doesn't: read ammount of gold and count it, sell items to vendor. Every other functions work fine, char is running, killing sarkoth, taking loot and so on....
If i activate virtual machine (alt+g) gold is counting and vendor works.
What could be the reason of the problem?

at your looting portion of the script add a send("{ALT}") and it will make loot stay visible for you to loot that was my work around for the delayed looting.
