Approach on gold to pick up?

As many of you remember, in Diablo II you was forced to click on every gold drop in game, to pick it up witch was kinda annoying and in effect you was missing half of the gold. Well, probably not anymore.
If you look closely on previously released Diablo III videos, than you'll see that characters only run through gold and picking it up! Well, thats ofc not 100% confirmed information, but you can watch video yourself and say what you think about it .

That would be rly nice of them, I started new D2 char about 2 days ago, and picking up all gold is kinda annoying...

This has been confirmed by Blizzard in some video. Gold will automatically be picked up since there's no reason ever to not be picking up gold.

I believe it was confirmed in one of their original gameplay trailers... if not the first.
